Dijkstra was a badass

The Paxos project is due soon! D:

Therefore, in lieu of a post today, I'm just going to mention something written by Dijkstra which was on Slashdot the other day, along with my fervent wish that someday I, too, will be remembered as a badass.

(Notice how many of my blog posts are mirrored in that one essay of his? I have a feeling I'd have liked the guy.)

Hm. I saw that on Slashdot, briefly recalled having to memorize how to spell the guy's name (and something about an algorithm), clicked the pdf, called tl;dr and went about my merry way! :3

Yeah, um, no offense, but I'm with Kiriska. Math problem session is tomorrow, and I note with interest that I have only looked at about half the problems so far. I'm sure it's fascinating and all, but...math.

And remember, up until age 25, everyone thinks he can be the biggest, baddest motherfucker in the world. (Unfortunately, that position is taken right now, probably by Nate Silver, possibly by Senator Obama.)

Also, remember that Eeeeeee! is the sound screaming teenage girls make, the so called Deleted Vowel.
